Liverpool students present Shakespeare adaptation as fall play

Students of Liverpool High School will perform William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” adapted by Trish Black Melehan.
Shows are Thursday, Nov. 7 and Friday, Nov. 8, at 7 pm in the Liverpool High School auditorium, 4338 Wetzel Road, Liverpool.
William Shakespeare’s satirical comedy masterpiece of mistaken identity, villainous betrayal, and love lost and found, the show is set in 16th century Italy, and is is a battle royale of wits between would be lovers and their families and friends who conspire to bring the story to a happy conclusion. But will they be able to bring them together, can they bring someone back from the dead, and what will the local constabulatory have to say about it all?
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased online.
